Leaders gossip about Trump during North Atlantic Treaty Organisation summit

Before, the president wrote that he held meetings with Turkey and Germany, noting there has been great progress that has been made by North Atlantic Treaty Organisation members over the last three years.

The NATO summit has been marred by tension among world leaders, which started Tuesday when Trump responded to comments Macron had made to The Economist magazine in which he claimed the world was witnessing the "brain death" of the organization.

The video appeared to show British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, French President Emmanuel Macron, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte having a laugh about Trump's behavior during the summit. "I've found him to be a very nice guy".

"I find him to be a very nice guy but you know the truth is that I called him out [on] the fact that he's not paying 2 per cent, and I can see he's not very happy about it", Mr Trump said. In a remarkable development, President Trump elected to share his working lunch with just those his official schedule recognised to be "2%ers" - member states that actually achieve their NATO treaty obligations. A lot more money is being produced by a lot of countries and they are enthusiastic about it.

Macron and Johnson's offices declined to comment on the video, and Canadian officials were not immediately available for a response.

"Well, he's two-faced", he said.

Mr Trudeau intervenes, and said "he was late because he takes a 40-minute press conference off the top" - seemingly a referendum to the Macron-Trump meeting earlier in the day.

"I think every different leader has teams who every now and then their jaws drop at unscheduled surprises - like that video itself, for example."

El video completo finalmente fue difundido a través de las redes sociales de CFK , del que se desprenden frases muy contundentes. Había que condenar a un gobierno , al que desendeudó al país.

Trump cancelled a planned press conference on Wednesday and instead flew back to Washington at the conclusion of his meetings.

There was also a commitment to ensuring the security of members' telecommunications infrastructure, including 5G networks. "What picture does it paint of where we are in the world right now?"

The prickly president's honor was apparently satisfied by this, as he was later overheard on a second hot mic boasting: 'That was amusing when I said that guy was two-faced'.

"I spoke to Italy and they look like they are not going to go forward with that".

"And it's unexpected. And yes, he says something unexpected and the people who work for them their jaws do drop because they're never quite sure what's gonna come out next", Peek concluded.

"Clearly it is very important that the alliance stays together", he said.

"In challenging times, we are stronger as an alliance, and our people safer", the declaration said. "We discuss it. I'm satisfied with it". The Initiative, also known as the "four 30s" plan, is part of NATO's long-term strategy to counter the perceived threat from Russian Federation. NATO has also deployed four multinational battlegroups to the Baltic States and Poland, increased its presence in the Black Sea region, and set up a number of small headquarters to link national and NATO forces, the NATO statement reads.

A day earlier, Trump told journalists in a wide-ranging news conference that he's confident Canada will boost its military spending, and jokingly called Canada "slightly delinquent" when it comes to meeting NATO's target for spending. Mr Trump has frequently and forcefully criticised how much other allies spend on defence.
