Loughton school crash: Man held over collision which killed boy, 12

British police launched a murder investigation on Monday after a 12-year-old boy was killed in a fatal collision with a auto near a school. A manhunt has been launched.

Essex and Hertfordshire Air Ambulance said it had treated "a number of patients", including two 15-year-old boys, a 13-year-old boy, a 16-year-old girl and a 53-year-old woman.

Police have launched a homicide investigation after the incident close to Debden Excessive College, on Willingale Highway, in Loughton, this afternoon.

"This is likely to be a prolonged and serious investigation we urgently need the public's assistance", he said.

A man wanted over a "deliberate" hit-and-run crash in which a boy died has been arrested, police say.

Earlier, Ms Harman said searches had been carried out to try to locate Glover, as she appealed directly to him to come forward. A possible motive was not immediately known. Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Sin embargo, este esfuerzo se complica con la decisión del gobierno del presidente norteamericano, Donald Trump , de retirarse formalmente del pacto, una acción ampliamente criticada por la comunidad internacional.

Officers said the vehicle was likely to have sustained damage to its front end and asked anyone who has seen it to call them on 101. At least three of the teenagers were thought to be pupils at the school.

Harman explained: "We responded to reports of a serious collision on Willingale Road shortly after 3.20pm today".

"At Essex Police, and on behalf of all those called to the school, our thoughts are with his family, his friends and with all those injured or affected by what happened this afternoon". As a school we continue to work with the police supporting the ongoing investigation.

"The school will be open on Tuesday with a number of counsellors on hand to support the community".

The area remains cordoned off amid a large emergency services presence.
