Alanis Morissette, Garbage and Liz Phair coming to Blossom

Alanis Morissette will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of her seminal recording "Jagged Little Pill" with a tour that has stops in Hartford and the Boston area.

Starting on June 2, in Portland, Oregon, the two-month tour will visit 31 cities through July 25.

The Canadian singer-songwriter has confirmed she'll embark on a world tour, where she'll be joined by the same acts who supported her in 1998.

Alanis is making a stop at Blossom Music Center July 23, and she's bringing Garbage and Liz Phair with her.

More information is set to be released, including the dates of the tour, very soon.

This Thursday, a musical based on Jagged Little Pill opens on Broadway. The musical is directed by Tony Award victor Diane Paulus ("Waitress", "Pippin") and features an original story by Academy Award-winning writer Diablo Cody ("Juno", "Tully").

Morissette also plans to release a new album May 1, 2020 called "Such Pretty Forks in the Road". VIP packages will be available starting with the presale.
