Person sought in case of UFC fighter's missing stepdaughter

Yazeed was out on bond from prior kidnapping and attempted murder charges, WIAT reported.

"Cops are hoping someone can identify the man in the video - described as "a black male, early-mid 20's, approximately 200 lbs., and is between 5'8" and 5'10".

Yazeed is considered unsafe and potentially armed.

The Auburn Police Division issued an arrest warrant Thursday for an Alabama man suspected of abducting Aniah Blanchard last month, a news release said.

Yazeed, 30, is now out on bond from separate charges of kidnapping and attempted murder in another jurisdiction. A judge revoked that bond Thursday, according to The Associated Press.

Harris, 36, was scheduled to fight Alistair Overeem in the main event of UFC Washington on December 7, but withdrew in the wake of Blanchard's disappearance.

Aniah Blanchard, the 19-year-old stepdaughter of Harris, has been missing since October 24. It was the last time anyone has heard from her.

Now, according to Alabama CBS affiliate WRBL, surveillance footage has been released from the same store that was Blanchard was spotted at from around the same time. On Oct. 31, police said they suspect foul play based on evidence recovered inside the vehicle.

"The Auburn Police Division has identified the person of interest as Ibraheem Yazeed, 30 years of age from Montgomery, Alabama". Blanchard's auto was also found a day or two after her disappearance, and police say that evidence taken from inside the vehicle indicates that she has been harmed. It had fresh damage along its passenger side. In that energy, Auburn and Montgomery Police as perfectly as 9 other neighborhood, condition and federal legislation enforcement organizations performing on the case are running as a task power. Investigators are looking into the possibility Blanchard was kidnapped during a carjacking. Air One, the state helicopter, has been seen across Montgomery.

Blanchard, 19, was reported missing on October 23, after last communicating with a friend just before midnight.

A vigil for Blanchard was held Wednesday in Birmingham, the place her stepmother, Yashiba Blanchard, mentioned she was grateful for any progress within the ongoing investigation.

A reward totaling $105,000 from multiple sources has been pledged toward the effort to find her.
