Bengals hold A.J. Green out of practice, ‘didn’t feel great’

"Right now, my ankle is saying it's too much", Green said, via ESPN's Ben Baby.

Taylor told reporters Wednesday that veteran wide receiver A.J. Green will play for the first time this year as Cincinnati (0-8) hosts the Ravens (6-2).

Green, who is recovering from surgery to fix torn ligaments in his left ankle, was disappointed when he spoke to the media, but the 31-year-old is putting his health first.

Therefore, Green missed practice and is back on the mend once again.

The goal came after a counter-attack in the 95th minute when Odsonne Edouard played in Ntcham. They had raced into a 4-0 halftime lead.

"I can't go out there when I'm not 100 percent. Everything else comes after that".

The fans of the Cincinnati Bengals have always been awaiting the return of A.J. Green this season, but they'll have to wait a bit longer. He had torn ligaments in his toe and missed the final month of the season. It remains to be seen what his current timetable to return is, but he has already been ruled out for this Sunday's contest. Green hurt his ankle on the first day of training camp in 2019.

After failing to make it through walkthrough on Wednesday, Green told reporters Thursday he won't be in action in Week 10 as quarterback Ryan Finley makes his first National Football League start.
