PM Modi interacts with members of Film industry

Many celebrities such as Kangana Ranaut, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Rajkumar Hirani have vouched to take part in a campaign called, "Change Within". The event took place at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, New Delhi.

Prime Minister Modi while addressing the gathering, had said Bapu was synonymous with "simplicity and his thoughts reverberate far and wide".

Addressing the gathering, PM said, "The power of creativity is huge and it is essential to harness this spirit of creativity for our nation".

In another display of his way with words, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday replied to Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan underlining the importance of every citizen's "dil se" participation in order to fulfil the centre's goal of bringing to reality the message of Mahatma Gandhi in both words and action. "The problems are taken care and I am sure we are in good hands as long as he is there". "I feel we need to re-introduce Gandhi ji to India and the world". We in the South of INDIA admire you & are Proud to have you as our Prime Minister. "He was very inspiring, very warm and very deep in what he had to say".

"First and foremost, I want to appreciate PM for thinking about this effort [further popularising the ideals of Bapu]. Also, the idea of a University of Cinema is extremely opportune!" PM Modi spoke extensively about the power and influence Indian film industry wields across the globe. Nobody has recognised the soft power of art and artists in the country before.
