Taylor Swift beats the Kardashians as highest paid celebrity

Ed Sheeran was the highest placed British star on the list, which ranks the world's top paid celebrities in music, sports and entertainment according to what they made over the last 12 months.

As per Forbes' new list, Akshay Kumar has grabbed the 33rd spot at earning of $65 million in the past year.

The "Blank space" hitmaker had also topped on the list back in 2016, with $170 million earnings. It culminated in the New Year's Eve debut of a concert film on Netflix.

Jenner, in face of her thriving cosmetic brand, earned an estimated $170m thanks to her raved lip-kits, securing the second place.

Other celebrities on the list include cosmetics mogul, Kylie Jenner at No. 2 with estimated earnings of Dollars 170 million, and Kanye West who stands at No.3 with earnings in excess of over USD 150 million.

Forbes has released its list of the highest-paid celebrities. The oldest person on the list is Beatles' legend Sir Paul McCartney, 77-years-old, at number 62 with $48 million. Apparently, her deal with the company is rumored to be worth $200 million. The 21-year-old is No. 2,057 on the magazine's billionaires list, a ranking that does not include Swift. He has secured the 33rd spot in this year's top 100 highest-paid celebrities in the world.

-The Kardashian's extended family is represented by four names; Kylie Jenner (#2), Kanye West (#3), Kim Kardashian West (#26), Travis Scott (#39).

Swift earned much of that money from touring.

Forbes calls Akshay "Bollywood's top-earning star" with an earnings of around 5-10 million United States dollars per film.
