Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri edging closer to Juventus

Maurizio Sarri is set to join Juventus on a three-year contract, after securing his departure from Chelsea, the UK Guardian reports.

Sarri has informed Chelsea that he wants to return to Italy with Juventus and the Europa League-winning manager is expected to be granted his release from the club at the start of next week.

Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has insisted that has remained ambivalent about Juventus being close to getting their hands on former Azzurri coach Maurizio Sarri.

Series Renewed for Fifth and Final Season — Netflix's Lucifer
Thankfully, to the delight of Lucifans everywhere, Netflix swooped in to save the fallen angel with a 10-episode Season 4 order. Apparently, they were happy with the number of people who tuned in, as they were relatively quick to announce the pickup.

The Italian champions had expressed an interest in the 60-year-old after announcing that Max Allegri would leave following five successful seasons at the club, with Sarri admitting he misses Italy amid the speculation.

Should everything go according to plan, Sarri will become the new Juve manager as early as next week according to Italian outlets Sportitalia and Sky Sport Italia.

Several of Sarri's decisions had been booed by the club's fans, whilst chants of "fuck Sarri-ball" in reference to the Italian's style of play had also often been heard.
