IPL stint has taken my England game to another level - Jonny Bairstow

Jos Buttler's stunning 50-ball century took England to 373 for three against Pakistan in the second one-day global at Southampton on Saturday.

Jonny Bairstow's commanding hundred was the centrepiece of England's dominant six-wicket win over Pakistan in the third one-day worldwide at Bristol yesterday as the World Cup hosts showed they could chase, as well as set, a target.

England took almost four hours to bowl their 50 overs, less than three months after they were fined for maintaining a slow over-rate against the West Indies in Barbados. "I certainly don't have it, but it's great to watch", Morgan said.

Top-ranked England are hosting the 2019 tournament and have boosted a winning side with the inclusion of all-rounder Jofra Archer in their warm-up matches.

According to the report, if the left-arm pacer does not recover in time for Friday's game, then it would be close to impossible for him to make it to the squad with only two ODIs left.

Buttler did not arrive at the crease until the 36th over but once again showed how seamlessly he moves through the gears from a standing start - his career strike rate of 119.88 is the highest of any batsman to have played 100 one-day global innings. He also gets more pace and bounce than the others when he bowls, precious assets in the wicket-taking business.

Buttler was named Man of the Match.

It is hard to keep coming up with superlatives to praise Buttler's batting in white-ball cricket. You're talking Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers, MS Dhoni, Viv Richards. Perhaps he just needs to play that decisive knock in the semi-final or final of a World Cup to seal it.

Being put in to bat first, England got off to a superb start as Jason Roy and Jonny Bairstow amassed a 115-run partnership, during which both batsmen brought up their half-centuries, before Bairstow was dismissed by Shaheen Shah Afridi for 51, which came off 45 balls and included six boundaries.

"They play some great cricket, they always play as a team, and they are well led by Kane Williamson".

With him at five, England have a batting line-up to conquer allcomers.

Roy struck four sixes in his 76 while Bairstow, making batting look ridiculously easy, belted 15 fours and five sixes before he was eventually bowled by Junaid Khan.

The pace department for Pakistan since they landed in England has become a concern for Mickey Arthur and Sarfraz Ahmed.

"I'm very proud of the team, the way Fakhar Zaman, Imam ul-Haq and Babar Azam played, especially as the way they're playing is a great sign for upcoming matches".
