Jets bounce back with 6-3 win over Blues

The Jets, down two games in the series, made a decision to remind the rookie which team went to the Western Conference Finals a year ago and pumped three goals past him in just four minutes during the second period of Sunday's contest.

Kevin Hayes, Brandon Tanev and Dustin Byfuglien also scored for Winnipeg, and Connor Hellebuyck made 26 saves.

David Perron, Vladimir Tarasenko and Alexander Steen scored for St. Louis.

Donning a St. Louis Blues jersey in Winnipeg right now is likely to draw the ire of all around you.

St. Louis had a chance in the third, pulling within one when Tarasenko scored a power-play goal just 1:51 into the period.

"The last few games we, as a group, didn't think we were far off", he said afterwards. Just to keep the bench a little bit loose.

"We just stayed within our game and tried to play it simple", Laine said. We did alright [Sunday], we can take some positives out of it. "He stood on his head again and he made some big saves and to get a greasy one like that kind of jumpstarted us and then we scored six".

St. Louis coach Craig Berube said the Jets had his team on their heels for most of the first period and that sort of set the tone.

"We're building every shift, every game throughout the series", Connor said. "We're getting close to our game and it's pretty risky".

Therefore, if Meghan's baby is a boy, he may be dubbed as Earl of Dumbarton, and if a girl, her title will be known as Lady. The 2012 ruling declared that all of Prince William and Kate Middleton's children will hold the royal title.

The teams were tied at 1 after the first period, and at 3 following the second.

Although the Enterprise Center was rocking for Sunday's game, there was little of the crazed atmosphere outside the arena, which has become a staple for thousands of white-clad fans at the Jets' home playoff games.

Winnipeg dropped the first two games by one goal, but got back on track in St. Louis. Kyle Connor has five goals and five assists over the last 10 games for Winnipeg. "I'm sure we'll respond with our A-game". We're looking for a little step, a little edge.

"We came into this expecting it to go the distance".

Obviously, the Jets were the more desperate of the two teams and it showed in their play in the opening frame where they outplayed St. Louis by a wide margin but had nothing to show for it.

The Jets went on the power play 3:58 into the first period after O'Reilly was called for tripping, but Scheifele took an interference penalty 1:03 into the man advantage.

Instead of being deflated, the Jets kept at it during the second period, scoring three times in 4:01.

With Blues defenseman Robert Bortuzzo off for interference, Laine blasted a shot past Binnington to give Winnipeg a 2-1 lead at 2:49 that sparked chants of "Go Jets Go!"
