Bernie Sanders’ Campaign Embraces War With Democratic Establishment

On Monday, Sanders took a more measured tone in releasing his returns, making reference to his upbringing in a Brooklyn family of limited financial resources.

Over the past five years, the couple has paid over $2.2 million in federal taxes at an average effective tax rate of about 33 percent. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota released 12 years of tax returns through 2017 earlier this month.
