And while Favreau and his creative team are still playing their Sabacc cards close to the vest, the ongoing Star Wars Celebration event in McCormick Place, Chicago brings us the very first teaser trailer for The Mandalorian. Boba Fett, a bounty hunter who first appeared in the original Star Wars trilogy, was not himself a Mandalore, but he wore their armor for intimidation purposes, as did his father, Jango Fett. Favreau adds that they were influenced by the "scum and villainy" of the Mos Eisley Cantina scene from the original "Star Wars" film as well as post-Civil War and Old West eras "where order had to be brought to the universe".

The Mandalorian, the first-ever live-action Star Wars series, launches this fall on Disney+. He travels the outer reaches of the galaxy alone, far away from the laws of the New Republic. It co-stars Gina Carano as a character named Cara Dune and Carl Weathers as a bounty hunter named Greef.

SYFY WIRE learned about the upcoming show at its Star Wars Celebration panel led by writer Jon Favreau, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, and director Dave Filoni - as well as surprise appearances by cast members Pascal, Carano, and Weathers. "It should be epic, because, Star Wars, right?" Every single Star Wars movie is coming to Disney Plus and when the streaming platform premieres on November 12, 2019, fans are going to find the force is strong. "You have chaos taking over the galaxy", Favreau said.

Includes 5 LEGO Star Wars minifigures: Bail Organa, Princess Leia, Captain Antilles, C-3PO and a Rebel Fleet Trooper, plus an R2-D2 droid LEGO figure. The Mandalorian looks to be the first show that takes that mandate to heart: Favreau has emphasized that the main character will operate in parts of the galaxy not yet explored by the films.

"We have you four to one", a Stormtrooper tells the Mandalorian, according to CNET.
