Giants Agree To 4-Year Deal With WR Golden Tate

But Tate will take the money given that he's waited this long to cash on in a good receiver market. Signing a 30-year-old receiver to a four-year deal signals the opposite approach.

As is often the case with the Patriots, the defending Super Bowl champion have come out of the gates focusing more on keeping valuable depth players such as DE John Simon, WR Phillip Dorsett, and restricted free agent CB Jonathan Jones.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Giants are signing Golden Tate to a four-year, $37.5 million deal that includes $23 million guaranteed. He was busy trading with the Browns and stocking up on draft picks.

'World Rugby not fully involving all stakeholders in Nations Championship talks'
World Rugby chairman Sir Bill Beaumont called Thursday's meeting to discuss the future of the worldwide game amid controversy over plans for a Nations League.

The Giants did not want to give $11.1 million to Collins on the franchise tag and he got $15 million per year for three years from the Redskins. With Beckham traded to the Cleveland Browns, Eli Manning now has a crew of Tate, Sterling Shepard, Evan Engram and, of course, Saquon Barkley, to spread the ball to in NY. Tate has since played for the Lions and very briefly - after a midseason trade - for the Eagles. Entering his sixth National Football League season, his career includes previous stints with the Seattle Seahawks (2017), Houston Texans (2015-16) and the New York Jets (2014).

"One of the top receivers available right now".

Both Tate and Shepard have experience on the outside but will be playing outside of their strengths.
