LaVar Ball rips Luke Walton, claims son Lonzo better than LeBron James

LaVar Ball has more thoughts on Lakers' leadership-and none of them are positive.

Ball appeared to celebrate after he received the news. From saying he could beat Jordan in one-on-one to claiming Lonzo is better than Stephen Curry, Ball has said some insane things in the past. This statement echoed his sentiments from earlier in the week, when he said publicly that "Luke Walton is the worst coach his son has ever had". While on the FS1 show Undisputed, Ball took shots at LeBron James, saying his son could beat the four-time MVP in one-on-one. "LeBron's hurt, he's getting old". The point guard suffered a left ankle sprain January 19 against the Houston Rockets and was expected to be out four to six weeks. James is averaging 26.9 points per game and is shooting over 50 percent from the floor.

In an interview with Sports Illustrated on Thursday, Ball was critical of LeBron James's leadership and again criticized head coach Luke Walton.

Drake, Kendrick Lamar And Childish Gambino Decline Grammy Performance
Rappers Post Malone ("Beerbongs & Bentleys") and the absent Drake's best-seller "Scorpion" are also vying for the top prize. Lamar will be in attendance at the event-though the same can't be confirmed for Childish Gambino or Drake.

At one point during the discussion, Shannon Sharpe referenced the Lakers by saying, "Lonzo's not the best player on that team", to which Ball responded, "Are you insane?"

As the National Basketball Association trade deadline approached, Lonzo Ball's name was consistently showing up in hypothetical trade packages for the Los Angeles Lakers in regards to the mythical Anthony Davis trade that never happened.

Thanks to the All-Star break the Lakers will have another nine days between games before coming back home for their February 21 game against the Houston Rockets, which will be over a month since Ball suffered the injury.
