No extra pressure for title-chasing Liverpool, says Alisson

No extra pressure for title-chasing Liverpool, says Alisson

Pep Guardiola's City are coming off the back of two straight wins, including an impressive 3-1 victory over Arsenal last weekend, which have seen them return to the league summit after an absence stretching back to mid-December. They have a chance to go back ahead of Liverpool should they win at home to Chelsea on Sunday and it's looking like that will be the sort of title race we're in for - when one team takes a slight advantage the other is challenged to tighten it up once again.

Long forgotten now after romping to the Premier League with a record 100 points last season, City suffered some serious growing pains in Guardiola's debut campaign.

"We have another one [Chelsea] and after that finally we have six days to rest a bit, prepare for Newport". United are just two points behind Chelsea with Arsenal a point further back. Liverpool dropped points in their last game to West Ham United as they only managed a draw. And we will fight until the last match day'. The most important line said "Unity is Strength" and I can think of no better message at this time.

There was no way back for Bournemouth, who have now lost nine away matches in succession and have 13 defeats in the last 18 matches in all competitions.

In the English Premier League, Liverpool will play against Bournemouth this weekend. The match was played at the Vitality Stadium where Liverpool won 4-0 away from home. Aguero will be keen to get among the goal scorers once again as he side pushes towards consecutive Premier League titles.

When City host Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, both their title rivals will have been in action, with third-placed Tottenham earlier tackling Leicester City.

Norment also said he had supported the academy's racial integration that year. The yearbook reportedly included multiple photos of students in blackface.

The visitors kept the margin to a single goal until the 69th minute, when Mohamed Salah took his league tally for the season to 30.

"There are times when team mates are in better condition". Liverpool have 65 points from 26 games, with City on 62.

Liverpool are back on top of the Premier League after beating Bournemouth at Anfield. How have the trio fared for their new club in comparison to their time on Merseyside?

As well as moving ahead of City, this result saw Liverpool close the gap in terms of goal difference, with Klopp's men now just four worse off. Bournemouth, meanwhile, remain in 10th place. That amounts to one goal every 14.5 games.

Hazard has expressed his preference for playing as a winger in the past, but Sarri likes to move the Belgian to the centre in games where his team can not dominate possession as they usually do.

"I see how they play and recognise what they want to do". "Goals like that where it's tight but clearly offside, I think we'll get the right decision". He won't feature tomorrow, though, as he is ineligible to play against his parent club. I know it's very hard to win the Champions League, because if you play in the Premier League it's very hard to get to finals of other competitions.
