Trump’s pick for United Nations ambassador went to Pine Manor College

Trump’s pick for United Nations ambassador went to Pine Manor College

But now, her experience in that State Department role is coming back to haunt her as well.

President Donald Trump will nominate State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, two White House officials said yesterday, tapping someone with no prior policy or political experience to deal with some of the world's thorniest issues.

"She's very talented, very smart, very quick", the president said.

"Heather Nauert will be nominated for the ambassador to the United Nations", Trump told reporters on his way to Marine One on Friday.

As a Fox News host, Nauert once declared that she would buy Trump's daughter Ivanka's products after the chain of luxury department stores Nordstrom announced that it was closing down the line.

"She's excellent, she's been with us a long time, she's been a supporter for a long time", he told reporters last month. "I'm not sure anyone would advise him that the way to solve all his problems is to put a "Fox & Friends" anchor as our top ambassador to the United Nations".

Three people familiar with President Trump's decision to name Nauert confirmed the pick, according to the report.

The nerve-altering issue is described as a compression or irriation between the lower neck and upper chest, the team announced . Brothers said Fultz will do his rehab in Los Angeles. "Now we have the answer to that problem".

A White House official says the Trump administration is downgrading the USA diplomatic post at the United Nations to a non-Cabinet position.

Under Pompeo, whose foreign policy views more closely align with Trump's than Tillerson's, Nauert became part of the inner circle.

"If Nauert is nominated and approved, people will be interested to see whether she's willing and able to do the diplomatic toil or whether she will see this as an extension of the spokesman position and focus more on presentation of U.S. position before the Security Council", said Gowan.

"When you talk about Germany, we have a very strong relationship with the Government of Germany", Nauert said, and mentioned the anniversary of the post-World War II Marshall Plan.

The announcement comes hours after a resolution championed by Haley condemning the Hamas terror group failed to pass in the General Assembly. With Mike Pompeo in charge of State, Nauert has been on the road much more. If confirmed by the Senate, she would be a leading administration voice on Trump's foreign policy.

Before working for Fox, she was a network correspondent for ABC News. "It is less clear that she has the experience to hammer out hard deals with China and Russian Federation over problems like Iran and North Korea", United Nations University fellow Richard Gowan told Bloomberg.

The president is weighing a number of other end-of-year staff changes, including replacing Chief of Staff John Kelly, two of Trump's advisers said yesterday. The former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations once said that if you lopped off the top 10 floors of the organisation's NY headquarters, it would make no difference.
