Packers Fire Coach For Ripping Aaron Rodgers and Team in Tweet

Moss confirmed he had been dismissed with a follow-up tweet Tuesday night.

On Tuesday night, Philbin decided to make his first big move, firing associate head coach/ outside linebackers coach Winston Moss.

Philbin took over for the final four games after Mike McCarthy was let go Sunday after a 20-17 loss at home to Arizona dropped the Packers to 4-7-1.

"We've got to be professional, accountable, respectful and punctual - those are the four things that we've got to do the next four weeks", he said.

"We have good people", Kraft told Guregian.

"I don't really worry about the future and honestly, each week is a tremendous challenge and we try to stay in the moment and focus on the task at hand, which this week is obviously considerable considering that we haven't had a lot of success down there", McDaniels said. It's not the offensive guru trend, it's not the safe trend.

Moss asserted the organization needed to "find somebody that is going to hold #12 and everybody in this building" accountable after McCarthy was sacked on Sunday following a disappointing home loss to the Cardinals. I don't know if there were eight or nine coaches, but that is the business. I've known him a long time.

"As a head coach, the first thing you realize (is) winning, losing, wherever you are at, it is a business just like it is for the player". So it wasn't an easy decision, but I just didn't feel like the fit right now was where it needs to be.

McDaniels said during a conference call Tuesday he doesn't pay too much attention to the head coaching rumors. He's never gotten a job.

In the wake of Green Bay firing head coach Mike McCarthy, who had a contentious relationship with Aaron Rodgers in recent years, one Packers coach had something very interesting to say about the quarterback.
