"Manchester United did nothing to win the game" - Ronaldo

A four-minute smash and grab, including a 90th-minute victor, from Manchester United gave them a 2-1 win over Juventus.

"I don't like to compare situations", Herrera said, reflecting on the win that delayed City's Premier League title celebrations last term.

Mourinho also claimed United have "one final to play" if they want to get through.

"Juventus still had enough chances to win the game but they were not almost as emphatic as they were at Old Trafford".

Juventus, on the other hand, looked risky every time they went forward thanks to the link-up play between Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala.

"This victory against Juventus was as a result of a carefully executed plan - something we have seen Jose Mourinho do many times in the past".

United picked up a huge victory in Turin as a late Juan Mata free-kick and an own goal from Alex Sandro stole the three points following Cristiano Ronaldo's opener.

Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci angrily approached Mourinho as he cupped his ear at the Bianconeri fans and the United coach was escorted off the pitch by a Uefa official and some members of his staff.

The Champions League match between Juventus and Manchester United will be broadcast live on TNT.

'Truly the year of the woman': female candidates win in record numbers
This cycle, the first since the defeat of the first female major party presidential candidate, many women ran without being asked. Sharice Davids of Kansas and Deb Haaland of New Mexico won their races, becoming the first Native American women in Congress.

After years in the doldrums Italian clubs other than Juventus are starting to make a mark on the competition and going toe-to-toe again with the world's best.

In fact, Mourinho tends to enjoy visiting The Etihad as he has lost only three of his ten managerial visits to City - won four, drawn three - and he is yet to lose there as manager of Manchester United manager.

The 33-year-old appeared to have been overtaken by his emotions, but quickly raised a hand to apologise to the travelling United fans for celebrating the goal against them.

PSG are third in Group C after their battling 1-1 draw with Napoli in the Stadio San Paolo cauldron, and while they are only one point behind leaders Liverpool, Tuchel's side have only managed to beat Red Star Belgrade in four matches.

United looked confident in possession in the opening exchanges but it was Juventus who had another chance shortly after as Rodrigo Bentancur's shot from outside the box was deflected behind for a corner.

Allegri was asked if he would have reacted similarly to Mourinho.

Then just after the hour, Bonucci played a wonderful ball over the top for Ronaldo whose side-foot volley whistled past De Gea to open the scoring.

"Look, I've not got a problem with it", Murphy said.
