Ryan Reynolds Goes After Hugh Jackman in Mock Political Ad - Watch Here!

'Hugh Jackman's upcoming performance in The Front Runner has fooled some people into thinking he deserves an award, ' the narrator of the video says while eerie music is playing in the background.

Hugh Jackman once again appears to be the focus of fellow actor Ryan Reynolds' off-kilter sense of humor, with the "Deadpool" star releasing a mock political ad about "The Greatest Showman".

Nonetheless, Jackman responded to Reynolds' trolling with a video of his own.

Flipping the theme of the film, in which Jackman plays 1988 presidential candidate Gary Hart, Ryan Reynolds creates a political ad in which he alleges that Hugh Jackman's Australian accent isn't even real, reviving his favorite rumor that Hugh is actually a product of Milwaukee.

'But before voting begins, some people should consider these facts. It's fitting because Jackman portrays one-time American presidential candidate Gary Hart in the film, which is slated to be released November 21.

He also makes at the piss out of Jackman hanging up his claws as Wolverine, saying that his pal "walked off the job. adding to unemployment".

NBC, Fox, and Facebook pull 'insensitive' Trump anti-immigration ad
Fox pulled the ad Sunday "upon further review", said Marianne Gambelli, president of the network's ad sales department. Trump's broader argument in the ad is obvious: we don't know who is coming into our country.

"Think before you vote, but definitely see The Frontrunner", Reynolds signs off.

Ryan Reynolds likes to shade other Hollywood actors, but it's all in good fun, of course.

Ryan goes on to say that perhaps Hugh isn't the right actor to give a "preachy liberal speech" at the awards ceremony this season. In the Greatest Showman star's response, he is seen walking his dog and picking up his feces, which happened to be on top of a photo of Reynolds as Deadpool.

Last year, Jackman decided he would no longer portray Wolverine in the Marvel Comics series.

The 2016 Deadpool reboot was a box office smash however, with their online banter a significant component of the film's unusual publicity campaign.
