Royal rewear: Duchess Kate steps out in recycled Emilia Wickstead dress

The Duchess of Cambridge was stunning in a lilac Emilia Wickstead dress and blush-colored heels.

The event was attended by political figures, experts and policy makers who proceeded to discuss issues such as how to deal with the stigma attached to mental health - a subject very close to the royal's heart.

The royal pair have always been involved in mental health initiatives through their Heads Together campaign.

"That's pretty much ruined the picture", William joked, via E!

This saw the couple break out into laughter along with the crowd.

They also took the time to meet with young people who have either had or are still dealing with mental health issues and met with representatives from a number of organisations running related campaigns and programs.

They also heard presentations on two case studies of active mental health programmes from Slovenia and the US and visited an exhibition area. The initiative was started by Dixon Chibanda and teaches the women to become lay health workers.

Duchess Kate only returned to royal duties last week after taking maternity leave with little Prince Louis.

The Duchess chose a dress by Emilia Wickstead, wore previously during her 2017 royal tour of Germany. He has since been joined by wife Meghan Markle at mental health charity events.

Prince William and Catherine flashed huge smiles.

Also this week, the Duchess is expected to appear at the Victoria & Albert Museum on Wednesday for her first visit as a royal patron of the institution, and she and William, along with George and Charlotte, are slated to attend Princess Eugenie's wedding to Jack Brooksbank on Friday at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
