Omarosa Secretly Taped Her White House Firing

On Meet the Press, she again said that she had indeed been privy to the recording, telling Chuck Todd that "I heard his voice as clear as you and I are sitting here". She was given an office, an assistant and the highest salary afforded an administration staffer.

Omarosa Manigault Newman, 44, the former aide to President Donald Trump, appeared on NBC's Meet the Press on August 12 for an interview in preparation of her upcoming tell-all book, Unhinged: An Insider Account of the Trump White House, and she played a shocking recording of the alleged moment that White House Chief of Staff John Kelly fired her in the Situation Room. "He goes on to say that things can get ugly for you", Manigault told host Chuck Todd. She also makes the accusation that he is losing his mental faculties.

"The Situation Room is the inner-most sanctum of a secure campus", he said, describing the breach as part of a culture of disregarding security protocols in the Trump White House.

Cohen's position - on the outside of the White House looking in, facing a lengthy prison term and the loss of his law license for making tapes of his clients - makes his dismissal of Manigault Newman's latest claim all the more remarkable.

On the recording, White House Chief of Staff John Kelly can be heard talking to Omarosa in the Situation Room. Manigault's book Unhinged: An Insider's Account of the Trump White House will be released this Tuesday.

But CNN reports that The White House has called Omarosa a "disgruntled former employee" who is trying to make a buck off of fake stories.

Two minutes later, the visitors were in front as Pablo Hernández found Mateusz Klich on the edge of the area. A deft touch and neat turn created the space he needed to fire a left shot past the helpless Derby keeper.

Trump's daughter Ivanka, a White House aide, was more explicit in her condemnation of the "ugly display of hatred, racism, bigotry & violence" a year ago at Charlottesville. On Saturday, Trump called Manigault Newman a "lowlife".

According to the Post, an excerpt from Unhinged also claims that Lara Trump, the President's daughter-in-law, and adviser offered Omarosa a job after she was sacked from The White House.

Like numerous assorted presidential hangers-on who populated the White House in the early days of Trump's administration, her responsibilities there were never entirely clear.

She also writes she turned down an offer from Trump's daughter-in-law to sign a nondisclosure agreement in exchange for a job on the President's re-election campaign paying $15,000 per month. Meantime, Trump is quoted dismissing his eldest son Donald Trump a "f**k up".

She said that she was "totally complicit" when she defended the president after the Charlottesville riots one year ago.

White House aides are exploring what punishment she could face for the purported recording in the Situation Room and in the building, according to a senior administration official.
