Ruby Rose gets emotional about LGBT superhero casting

Ruby Rose was a guest on The Tonight Show last night to promote The Meg, where she got emotional when the topic of her playing Batwoman was discussed.

In case you missed it yesterday, Ruby Rose has been cast as Batwoman in a standalone TV series set to debut on the CW in 2019.

She said: "It's a game-changer". The news wasn't public at the time, and Rose was anxious she was going to slip up and accidentally tell someone while walking the red carpet, because she "kept spontaneously crying" about her casting. The second one-sheet places over Batwoman's face a comic-accurate mask that gives her glowing yellow-orange eyes. Fans will get their first look at Rose's take on the character in the big Arrowverse crossover event this December on The CW.

Rose wrote Tuesday on Instagram that she's "thrilled and honored" and "an emotional wreck" over the news. Rose talked about what the role means to her by sharing her motto since she came into the entertainment industry: "Be the person you needed when you were younger".

Logline: Armed with a passion for social justice and a flair for speaking her mind, Kate Kane soars onto the streets of Gotham as Batwoman, an out lesbian and highly trained street fighter primed to snuff out the failing city's criminal resurgence.

Mauricio Pochettino calls Tottenham's summer transfer inactivity 'brave'
It's a moment that the club needs to take risks and tries to work harder than the previous season to be competitive again, because every season will be more difficult'.

The Australian has also appeared as an assassin and bodyguard in the John Wick series of action movies, and plays Jaxx Herd in the science-fiction horror movie The Meg released on Thursday.

I have nothing against Ruby Rose but I think they could do a better job to find someone who can match Kathy Kane better.

For those who are yet to encounter the hero in any setting, you're in an enviable position.

The 32-year-old stunner said the show actually won't be her first time sporting bat wings.
