Grant Gustin’s Angry About Leaked Photos Of Flash’s New Costume

Earlier today, a photo of a new suit for Gustin's speedster on The CW's The Flash leaked online and, in addition to some critical comments about the costume itself, many made remarks about Gustin's appearance.

The Flash Season 5 suit appears to nearly resemble one of those Mego action figures as the material seems to be less leather-looking than the previous versions and has more cotton-like material.

Gustin makes a very good point here about people needing to wait to see the full thing before making their minds up about the new suit. "It's a cool suit", Gustin said.

Jarrod Lyle dies after long battle with cancer
In July 2017, he was diagnosed with the leukaemia again, and last week made the decision to stop active treatment. A week later, Lyle and his doctors decided medical treatment should cease and he receive only palliative care.

Grant Gustin continued blasting those who "body shamed" him about being too skinny. Fans shared a range of reactions, from calling out the unnecessary nature of body shaming while others pointed out that the character isn't supposed to be the muscular giant that someone like Batman or Superman would be. That's what pisses me off. "I've had my own journey of accepting it", Gustin wrote. But there's a double standard where it's ok to talk sh*t about a dudes body.

Adding that he does his "best to stay in shape", Grant said he is "naturally thin" and admitted "gaining weight is a challenge for me".

The actor went on to explain in his post that people have told him and his parents for most of his life that he was too thin. The result is that it's hard for Gustin to gain weight. But, here I am 5 seasons later. "Not only that, but they should be able to feel like THEY could be a superhero on TV or film or whatever it may be some day", the man who plays Barry Allen wrote. He explained that the suit wasn't the finalized version of it and that there's still work that needs to be done. "Things have been adjusted since that leaked shot was taken down, and more things will continue to be adjuste duntil it feels right".
