Chris Pratt’s Cowboy Ninja Viking Movie Delayed Indefinitely

Priyanka Chopra was set to act with Chris Pratt in an upcoming Universal Studios film "Cowboy Ninja Viking". Without a given reason, the studio has pulled it from its original June 28, 2019 release date.

Pratt remains attached to play Duncan, a multifaceted assassin with the ability to manifest the deadliest attributes of three distinct personas: a cowboy, a ninja, and a viking.

When the film might score another release date remains to be seen, but Universal certainly seems to think it'll still get made; just not yet. And it sounded like things were coming together nicely as Priyanka Chopra, perhaps best known for her turn in The Rock's Baywatch movie, joined the action comedy last week. The film will be directed by Michelle Maclaren, who has also helmed a few episodes of hit HBO series, Game of Thrones.

Universal Pictures has kicked the cowboy to the curb, nixed the ninja, and is no longer vouching for the viking. A film version of the graphic novel has been in the works since at least 2010, with the project being passed from Marc Forster (World War Z) to David Leitch (John Wick) to MacLaren, who was working from a script originally drafted by Deadpool's Paul Wernick and Everett David Reese. Guymon Casady, Ben Forkner and Mark Gordon are producing this unique take on the comic book genre.

"We will answer the charges filed against Congressman Collins in Court and will mount a vigorous defense to clear his good name". He also tweeted on Wednesday that he meant to "fight to clear my name".

Chris Pratt's next big blockbuster has been delayed indefinitely.

Cowboy Ninja Viking may still get underway before the end of the year, but it's unlikely that we'll the movie anytime next year.

"Initially Riley [Rossmo] wanted to do something with a Dystopian near-future setting, "Lieberman said of writing the Cowboy Ninja Viking comics".
