Watch Harrison Ford Surprise Alden Ehrenreich During a SOLO Interview

Ford said he's seen the movie and thinks it's "phenomenal", but skipped out on the premiere with the rest of the cast Thursday because he didn't want to steal Alden Ehrenreich's thunder.

Details have been released for the upcoming Han Solo Season in Star Wars Battlefront II, which celebrates Solo: A Star Wars Story's approaching June launch.

During a junket interview with Entertainment Tonight, Alden Ehrenreich was surprised by none other than Harrison Ford. "Get outta my chair".

The actor had dropped by at the very moment Ehrenreich was just about to share the advice Ford shared with him on playing Han Solo in the new film. Star Wars is not new to the small screen as it has had its own animated program, but it will soon have a live action series streamed on Disney. "And he was like, 'I hear you; I don't like your odds.' And that was exactly what I needed to hear".

Solo: A Star Wars Story blasts its way into theaters on May 25, so keep checking back with CinemaBlend for continuing coverage about the movie in these remaining weeks. But now, at least Glover can breathe a sigh of relief as, according to reactions coming out of the film's premiere, Billy Dee Williams has given the actor's take on the role a big thumbs-up, saying that he loved Solo and approved of Glover as Lando.

A report from Vulture says that an acting coach was brought on to set for Ehrenreich, which vastly helped him improve his performance.
