Kellyanne Conway Gets Relentlessly Memed Over Response to Comey Interview

This was most recently evidenced by a television hit in which she admitted that former Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey swung the election for Trump.

"This guy swung an election", Conway told George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America, referring to Comey.

After her interview with Chris Cuomo and several others on Monday morning, Kellyanne Conway continued her defense of Donald Trump [VIDEO] in regards to the James Comey interview by going to her personal Twitter account.

Conway was referencing comments Comey made in the interview and in his new book that his decision to make that announcement in late October may have been swayed by his assumption that Clinton was on target to win the election.

Folks on the Internet took notice of Conway's media gaffes of the day and had plenty to say.

ABC has changed its headline since, to read "Kellyanne Conway slams Comey: He always diverts 'the spotlight to him'".

Kellyanne Conway continues to be nearly as confusing a speaker as her boss, President Trump.

She found the coverage of her words misleading there too.

Conway went on to allege that Comey "admitted" in a Senate testimony that Trump did not ask him to drop the investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn, but Stephanopoulos interjected.

On Sunday night, Comey's interview with ABC's "20/20" was broadcasted, with the former Federal Bureau of Investigation director saying Trump was "morally unfit to be president".
