Central Florida has a contender in "Dancing With the Stars: Athletes": Orlando native Johnny Damon, a retired Major League Baseball star, will compete in the ABC dance contest.

The public might be surprised by the performance of the National Basketball Association legend who will turn 71 on April 16 and the 24-year-old victor of last season who was paired with Jordan Fisher.
