Guardiola: City Are Not UCL Flops

Tottenham can hand Manchester City their fourth straight loss when the two meet at Wembley on Saturday evening.

Sergio Aguero will be missing for Manchester City's Premier League clash with Tottenham, having made "a huge effort" to feature against Liverpool in the Champions League.

Unfortunately City's mini slump won't be enough to see them relinquish the Premier League title, but Spurs can inflict some more damage on a comparatively fragile side, who only three weeks ago appeared unbeatable.

Speaking in a press conference the Man City manager said: "After action from Ashley Young (last Saturday) he could not train".

Defeat to Spurs would equal Guardiola's worst run as a manager of four defeats in succession, and if United beat West Brom tomorrow and then Bournemouth in a re-arranged game on Wednesday, the gap will be down to just seven points.

"We are able to win the two games [we need to confirm the title] and we will do that".

Aguero has scored 30 goals from 39 matches in all competitions this season. We will be back and try to be stronger next season.

Hezbollah rules out Syria unravelling into wider war
Israel is believed to have carried out numerous raids inside Syria since 2013 but it rarely admits to them publicly. He added: "We condemn the use of chemical weapons, which is a war crime, but what happened in Douma was a farce".

Benjamin Mendy is still recovering from a long-term cruciate knee ligament injury, John Stones has been ruled out with a thigh problem, and Fernandinho is suspended. They know when I am angry and I am not happy with what they are doing.

City are 13 points clear at the top with six matches to play and could be confirmed as champions this weekend.

'We can not forget he was one month injured. "When you lose 5-1 you can not say anything else". 'But after Liverpool, the way we played against United was tough, the way we started against Liverpool was tough.

City dropped just two points in their first 22 league matches this season, with that unbeaten sequence finally ended by a 4-3 defeat at Liverpool on January 14.

There was also controversy at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday as Leroy Sane had a legitimate goal disallowed and Guardiola was sent to the stands for complaining to the referee. That's why we are there.

"Whatever happens this season, winning or losing, [credit] to my players - they deserve all my respect especially in the tough moments".
