Janice Dickinson tells jury Cosby raped her

Janice Dickinson tells jury Cosby raped her

Dickinson, one of the country's most famous models in the 1970s and '80s, was the prosecution's second witness today, the fourth day of the retrial, and the fourth accuser to testify.

The former women's basketball administrator at Cosby's alma mater, Temple University, alleges he gave her pills and molested her. He says it was consensual.

Cosby's first trial previous year ended in a hung jury. The prosecution claims that these "prior bad acts" witnesses demonstrate a pattern of Cosby's behavior of misconduct.

The women also could help prosecutors insulate the main accuser, Andrea Constand, from the defence's contention that she's a "con artist" who preyed on Cosby " s vulnerability after the 1997 killing of his son, Ennis, and then framed him to score a big payday via a $3.4-million civil settlement. Then he asked her: "If you were to drink, what would you drink?" and handed her a glass of white wine.

She told the jury that Cosby had her sit between his knees and he started stroking her hair.

But she managed to catch her breath long enough to look right at the defendant and say, "You remember, don't you, Mr. Cosby?" He's charged with sexually assaulting a woman at his home in 2004.

Mesereau questioned her representation from lawyer Gloria Allred for media appearances.

Earlier Thursday, accuser Janice Baker-Kinney finished her testimony, speaking in part about her conversations with her sister and a friend after the alleged assault.

Model Janice Dickinson is the next Cosby accuser to take the stand.

Dickinson said Cosby had clothes from the hotel boutique laid out in her room because the T-shirts, shorts and swimwear she had in Bali wouldn't cut it in snowy Tahoe.

When she woke up, she was sore and remembers having her pajamas halfway on and halfway off, she testified.

"I didn't consent to this. Here was 'America's Dad, ' on top of me", she said recalling the 1982 incident.

"Here's a married man, father of five kids, on top of me", Dickinson testified. "I remember thinking how wrong it was, how very wrong it was". "How very wrong it was".

Turning to Cosby, she mentioned: "You keep in mind, do not you, Mr. Cosby?" "I wanted the paycheque from the book".

'Who will be caretaker PM?': PM Abbasi, Khursheed Shah discuss options
It is the third formal meeting between the prime minister and Mr Shah to hold consultations over the issue. He said that they're trying to come up with a name for the caretaker prime minister before May 16.

It wasn't until years later, she said, that Lublin "realized something else had happened after I blacked out".

Cosby's defense attorney, Tom Mesereau, challenged Dickinson on her claims, citing discrepancies between her testimony and her 2002 autobiography, No Lifeguard on Duty, about the encounter with Cosby.

"I wasn't under oath when I wrote that book", Dickinson said. Dickinson didn't deny what was written by her ghostwriter (Pablo Fenjves), instead saying that the book publisher advised them to change the passage to avoid any trouble with Cosby's legal team.

"It's all a fabrication there", she noted. "It was gross", she said.

Dickinson is the fourth accuser to take the witness stand at Cosby's sex assault retrial in suburban Philadelphia. Confronting Cosby later that day, she demanded to know why he did it.

Dickinson, the former model and TV personality who has called herself the "world's first supermodel", became one of the first women to go public with her allegations against Cosby when she told her story on Entertainment Tonight in 2014. The first accuser to testify, Heidi Thomas, said she met Cosby the same way.

Now nicely into center age, Baker-Kinney and the opposite two accusers who've testified to this point spoke of getting into Cosby's orbit as starstruck younger girls in search of profession assist or, in Baker-Kinney's case, merely searching for a very good time.

Bill Cosby's lawyer is trying to raise doubts about a woman's allegation that he knocked her out with pills and raped her in 1982.

Baker-Kinney was unflappable on the stand Wednesday, freely admitting her past experimentation with LSD and battle with alcoholism.

"He got on top of me and his robe opened", she said, and he began to have sex with her.

"These women proved that they were here to back up their sister - they got their sister's back", Cosby spokesman Andrew Wyatt said outside court Thursday. He also called the women the "supporting cast" for Constand. The 80-year-old star has since pleaded not guilty to three charges of aggravated indecent assault.

Throughout cross examination, the protection sought to level out inconsistencies in how Baker-Kinney has described the encounter through the years.

Chelan Lasha, whose body shook as she cried uncontrollably, struggled to keep her voice steady even as she spelled her last name for the court.

The first trial ended in a mistrial after jurors failed to agree on a verdict following five days of deliberations.
