West Ham Manager Opens Up On Andre Ayew's Departure

West Ham manager David Moyes says Joe Hart will start in goal for the visit of Burnley on Saturday.

Six of West Ham's nine remaining league matches this season are at the London Stadium, having begun their campaign with four consecutive away matches.

The All Whites skipper was also knocked out, and needed oxygen as he was stretchered off the field after making a last-ditch tackle in the first half of Sunday's 4-1 defeat to Swansea City.

West Ham defender Winston Reid confirmed he will miss the rest of this season with a knee injury in an emotional message to supporters on social media. However, that hasn't stopped the former Chelsea man and he still plays for United States side Tampa Bay Rowdies in the second tier of the USA league and he has already started working on the future.

A Taliban spokesman claimed its fighters have overrun the base and surrounding 12 security posts, killing almost 30 Afghan forces. Shah Shir Azara, a security marshal at the site, said 13 people had been killed.

"It's changing all the time, there is very little between the teams in 10th and down the bottom so I think any one team can beat the other". Burnley are seventh with 40 points. "That's all I am focusing on at the moment and I believe we will stay up".

West Ham are 14th in the league with 30 points, level with Swansea and Huddersfield Town and three points above the drop zone.

"I've said all along, Joe's been good, and I've got competition in some places so you have to play well", said Moyes.

Italian centre back Angelo Ogbonna has recovered from illness, while defensive colleague James Collins faces a late fitness test on the hamstring injury that kept him out against Swansea last weekend.
